Batsford Arboretum is at its Best just now

Batsford Aboretum is a glorious place to visit with Magnolias and Cherries in bloom, with carpets of Wood Anemones under them. The last of the Narcissi are still blooming and the Snakeshead Frittilaries are in perfect condition.
Half my photos were accidentally deleted, but here's a taster of what you could see on a visit:

 Two views of Snakeshead Frittilaries

Above a bird which may have been a Jay, the arboretum is awash with birds.

Above and below 'Magnolia Caerhays Surprise'

 A glorious Magnolia, I think a Stellata.
 Above some Wood Anemones
 Other Frittilaries
Above, there is a great second hand furniture shop called Applestore on the site, I bought this sweet cupboard for the bathroom.
Batsford Arboretum is near Moreton in Marsh : www.batsarb.co.uk
