There was a grand opening of the Core Gallery above the Core juice bar on Friday 13th of September with tasty, healthy refreshments, live music and a great atmosphere. The event started off downstairs with chats about the benefits of drinking juices, this was followed by Kerry Gault who is in charge of running the gallery explaining how she intends to run it.

We were keen to get upstairs and see the gallery and the first exhibition, but were kept downstairs for a bit longer before being encouraged to look at the gallery.
The gallery space is large and airy, ideal for the purpose, and the first exhibitors had a good variety of styles, here's a sample:
The submission deadline for the October exhibition is the 28th of September, probably too late for that deadline now. Their flyer advertising their gallery suggests anyone interested asks in store, or emails: firstname.lastname@example.org
