Inspired by Magnolia and Cherry Blossom in Old Town Gardens

Caroline Day has an exhibition, at Vu:Du Coffee Shop at 96, Victoria Road, Old Town, from 1st-30th May, of new paintings and prints inspired by the Old Town Gardens. The preview was on Friday 1st May, but having been to Batsford all day coincidentally looking at Magnolia and Cherry blossom, I missed it, so went to take photos on Saturday morning.
It's a lovely exhibition, a celebration of spring blossom, Caroline has called the exhibition 'Celebrate the Sun'.
The canvasses are easier to see than the prints behind glass, although the chandelier is a bit in the way whichever way I tried to photograph the paintings.
Another view from the side avoiding the chandelier
 More Magnolia flowers
and a close up with a bit of glare
And here's the Cherry blossom:

Do go and have a look for yourself, Vu:Du is open from 9am-5pm Mon-Wed, and 9pm-7pm Thursday and Friday, and 9am-4pm on Saturday, the coffee and cakes are lovely, and they do snacks as well.
For Swindon Open Studios Beverley Greig will be exhibiting in Vu:Du and her exhibition will remain for the whole of September.
Don't forget there are 2nd birthday celebrations at the Old Town Gardens this Sunday 10th May with cake cutting at 3pm.
