I Couldn't Resist a Cocktail Party at VuDu!

But what to wear? I solved that quandary by wearing my flowery trousers which have got me out of many a tight sartorial spot.
Caroline Day, organiser of arty things at the Town Gardens and Shay Barry, owner of VuDu held the cocktail event to celebrate the inclusion of Ken White's posters advertising events in the Town Gardens in the 1970s.
As I arrived, Lee was outside VuDu  photographing the proceedings, so having photographed him, I tried copying his approach:
and here's what he might have been photographing:
Here are Ken's posters, firstly rose pruning demonstrations:
Then  the print of the bowl:
with events taking place listed as they took place
It was lovely to have a chat with Hilda Sheehan, seated, and to meet Anna May, facing the camera

Caroline Day had colour co-ordinated her dress to match her cherry blossom paintings, and was a vision of lovliness
It was difficult to include kne in a photograph without seeming a bit intrusive, but here he is on the right:
Do go and have a look at Ken's posters and Caroline Day's cherry blossom and magnolias in VuDu until the end of the month.
